"In Your Trial"
I know your days right now are long,
You don't know where to go,
Everything you do you feel is wrong,
It's like there is no end to the show.
Sometimes you feel that you can't persist,
It's like there is no end,
But do not let temptation make you resist,
I will be your friend.
It's hard to stand strong,
When no one is around,
You feel you don't belong,
No one seems to make a sound.
You have so much that you have to bear,
It's weighing you down,
You feel no one cares,
It makes you want to frown.
All you can see is the rain,
It's all dark outside,
Your prayers aren't in vain,
In me you can confide.
My words may not comfort you,
I may not bring you cheer,
I don't know what it's like to be in your shoes,
But I want to be here for you through the years.
I hope soon your days will be more bright,
And nothing in your way,
I hope the clouds get out of sight,
And you only have good days!
But this may not happen right away,
I pray you can stand strong and still,
For it is going to be the best day,
If it all is in God's will!
You are very special indeed,
God has a plan for you,
In his time you will be freed,
But for now he isn't through!
May God bless you each and every day,
And hear your every prayer,
He's with you all the way,
And I'm always there!

"My Best Friend"
There are no words to describe you,
You are there each and every day.
Whenever I am feeling blue,
You always go out of your way.
You are an angel inside,
You always seem to care,
It is in you that I confide,
You always help me carry all I have to bear.
Without you I'd be in mess,
I could never be free,
To whom would I confess?
With you, I dare to be me!
You deserve all there is in the world to give,
No doubt in my mind, you were sent from above,
You've helped me when it seemed so hard to live,
You showed me your heart, your words, and your love.
I never knew someone like you exists,
A person who is always by your side,
A person who helped you persist,
One who you could run to and hide.
You have helped me more than you know,
I tell you every thing about me.
You have encouraged me to let my faith grow,
When I talk to you I feel so free.
You have such a sweet heart,
There's something I want you to know,
I hope we never have to part,
But if we do you'll be with me wherever I go.
No one can stop our friendship,
It is bonded by our hearts and love,
It's a bond that no one can rip,
It's evident it was made by God above.
So no matter what someone may say,
I love you with all my heart,
I will be here for you any day,
So therefore, we will never part!
