"Lord, You are my Life"
Lord you are my stronghold,
When times are good and bad,
With you I don't have to be bold,
You wipe my tears when I'm sad.
You pick me up when I fall,
You lift me up when I'm down,
You are the one that hears my call,
You always turn my frown upside down.
When I'm weak you are always strong,
You help me when I feel like calling it quits,
With you I can never go wrong,
You are the one that touches my spirit.
Lord, you are always there for me,
I will never understand why,
It's something I could choose not to see,
But with you I feel like I can touch the sky.
You have been the biggest part of my life,
You have been my best friend,
You've helped me in the times of strife,
You've proven you'll be there until the end.
Lord when I am lost and can't be found,
You are the one who is there,
You are the one who's always around,
I know you will always care.
Lord at anytime I can run to your strong arms,
And know all will be alright,
You keep me safe from harm,
With you my days always turn out bright.
Lord you were there when David and the giant fought,
You were the one that made the way,
You gave your life for my sins to be bought,
When you say peace be still the oceans have to obey.
You were there for Daniel in the lions' den,
And for Jonah in the whale,
You were the one that made a defeat turn to a win,
You have helped me when I fail.
You have been there from the first day,
And you'll be here until the last,
You are the one that makes a way,
Without your permission nothing can go past.
Lord, you were nailed to a tree,
All because you cared,
It proves how much you love me,
It lets me know you'll help me carry all I have to bear.
Thank you Lord for being this way,
So loving and caring it's true,
Without you I could see no end to my day,
Without you I'd always be blue.
