"The One"
I've been through good times and bad,
But there was one who helped me when I was sad.
The times I felt I needed to cry,
You comforted me without a sigh.
The times I felt like the road was too long,
You showed me I was all too wrong.
You never were rude or to busy to care,
You helped me carry all I had to bear.
Sometimes I felt I could crawl up and die,
But you were there to hear my cry.
You never got mad when I was in a bad mood,
You were one of the few who understood.
Sometimes I'd gripe and complain,
But instead of leaving you helped me see through the rain.
I'll always wonder why oh why,
But I know you were sent by God on high.
You are my best friend,
I want you to be with me until the end.
You are what a true friend is supposed to be,
That is why you'll never know how special you are to me!
I love you my friend!

"Tests"
There are times tests come our way,
And no matter what we can't see the end of the day.
We think man everything is going wrong,
But we really have the answer all along.
We pray thinking our prayers are in vain,
We choose not to see through the rain.
Every word we seem to pray,
Just doesn't make the clouds go away.
We wish that everything would go our way,
Nothing to harm us or ruin our day.
This would be great,
However, we need to wait.
No matter how long we stand still,
We need for the results to be in God's will.
Sometimes we gripe and complain,
When we should let God take domain.
We need to let God help and us give in,
That way we know that the outcome is sure to win.
Never give up even when the road is long,
Because with God nothing will go wrong!
