In winter he keeps you warm,
In trials he gives you shelter from the storm,
He is the person who knows us best,
When we're weary he gives us rest.
He gives is someone to lean on,
He will never be gone,
He loves us for who we are,
We are his shining stars.
This man gave all he had to give,
So that we might have the perfect life to live,
He gave his life for you and me,
Something so few really see.
No one has been like him,
He helps us when we are grim,
You can call on him any hour,
He is the only one with the healing power.
He is the strongest man I've ever known,
His life is the greatest love story ever shown,
He will help us any day,
God is the only sure way.
When you can't see the light,
He has a plan in sight,
Always have faith and hope,
God will always help you cope.
No one in this world can compare,
This man helps carry all you have to bear,
He is the beginning and the end,
God is my closest friend.
